David Carnac
David was born in Chislehurst, Kent, and his initial and formative musical education was in the Bromley Youth Orchestra and Concert Band where he was their Principal Trombone from the age of 14. During this period, he studied with Leslie Lake and Peter Gane before completing his GGSM and Postgraduate Orchestral Studies courses between 1981-5 at the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where his teachers were Peter Gane, Denis Wick and Eric Crees.
